2p! Spain Head cannons


1) Why he doesn’t like kids much.
There’s no actual reason, because it differs on who the ward is. For example, he didn’t like Flavio as a child, because he was very messy, and Renaldo has a severe case of OCD, but when he started getting more responsible, Ren softened up a bit. As for Alex (2p! Mexico), he can’t be mad at him for long because he’s very sweet, and due to their past. As for 2p! Texas, she really got on his nerves with her whining and nagging, but he resolved to repair their relationship afterwards.


2) What was his childhood like ?
He doesn’t like to talk about much because it was…traumatic. He was the reason his mother dies, and he’s never been able to forgive himself for that. He sunk into depression and suffered from insomnia. Every night he would sit by the window, on the ledge that he had turned into his bed, and stare at the moon, writing beautiful yet sad poetry…sometimes even singing his mother’s lullabies to himself…


3) How did his mother die?
That’s a touchy subject with Renaldo.  He will usually feign deafness until you change the subject. His mother was kind once upon a time, until she went through some life changing experiences that caused her to become cold hearted and cruel. Abuse was a daily occurrence to her kids. She also began to indulge into alcohol and drugs as well as murder. One day, when Ren was out, she decided to have a her daily dose of power by tormenting poor little Alex. By the time Ren had returned, Alex was unconscious. Something in Ren snapped that day, and he has no recollection after him grabbing his mother’s axe. The last thing he remembers was that he was covered in his mother’s blood, and Alex was stirring. He escaped off to the woods behind his house.


4) What was his teenage years like?
He manage to come out of his depression with the help of his siblings, though they still don’t know the truth about what happened to their mother…Renaldo had managed to cook up a story about a burglar entering and being rough with his mom, and he was covered in blood because he tried to beat him up, but ended up sing the axe. As soon as he recovered, he fell in love with one of the princesas of Espanol.  He loved her dearly, but she kept tormenting him, and criticising him, up to the point where she reminded him of his mother. So he disguised himself as a prince, manage to make her fall for him, and after a little fun, killed her with hacha. This was the first time he killed for pleasure.


5) Who or what is hacha ?
Hacha is what he calls his axe.


6) Does he own any pets ?
Yes, he does.  Quite a few too! He has a bull named Alejandro, after his brother Alex,  a snake named Rey that he managed to find, a puppy named Pedro from the Maltas, and a white kitten named Sophia from 1p! Texas.


7) Any hobbies?
He loves to cook, play his guitar, catch up with his siblings, go get a drink with Christophe and Gil, or maybe just talk with Russia.


8) What are his murder techniques?
He prefers to chop up pretty girls that he has been able to charm, and this is the only time when his OCD doesn’t act up. For guys, or people he finds annoying, he’ll generally get 2p! Romano, 2p! Belgium or 2p! Malta to cook up some kind of poison.


9) What is he like now?
He is very protective of his siblings, and he’s now a player after being able to win over his first love. He still tends to chop them up later, but he’s trying to restrain from doing so. He’s a loyal friend, and a very loving boyfriend. He is cold, sarcastic and cynical at first, but after a few interactions, will generally tend to warm up to you, unless you give a reason not to.


10) Does he hold any grudges?
Yes, against 1p! Spain, because he felt that 1p! Spain has always had everyone adore him, whereas Renaldo has to try his hardest to even get the kindest of people to like him, because of all the stereotypes about the 2p!s.
